Its participation in the technology at the Games includes cellular and fixed broadband connectivity solutions, data center servers, and network management.

“We established an Olympic integration center, using our collaboration technology that has transformed interactions at the Games,” says Karen Walker, Cisco’s Chief Marketing Officer.

“We launched the Cisco Challenge for Urban Innovation, bringing together entrepreneurs, developers, start-ups, and academia to create connected experiences and transform the lives of citizens and visitors. We are also expanding our educational program. We have over 300 training centers nationwide and plan to double student numbers to 50,000 by 2017. We are very proud of that.”full_stop
